Each year the capital hosts Prudential Ride 100 in August, a weekend dedicated to all things cycling with races and road closures catering to all levels and experience levels from the FreeCycle to the London-Surrey Classic, there is something for everyone.

The FreeCycle is a an opportunity to showcase central London on traffic free roads, an ideal opportunity for families to cycle together and enjoy the capital away from congestion and pollution. The following day starts early for those taking on the full 100 miles which uses much of the same route as the road race the professionals used during the 2012 Olympic Games, there are also shorter routes of 46 and 19 miles for those wanting something shorter, not to mention the Brompton Races! Finally the professional peloton take on the one day London-Surrey Classic. It really is an annual cycling expo!

This year Ride Clean was out in force along the main race route a day before the action in Putney in conjunction with Positively Putney and The Dynamo Cafe.
